KIDMODZ WELCOMES AFCO AS TITLE SPONSOR
| (December 11, 2007) - The KidModz Racing Series would like to welcome AFCO Racing Products out of Boonville, IN as the title sponsor of the series. AFCO joins the list of sponsors already on board that include: Hoosier Racing Tire, Bassett Wheels, UMP, Sweet Manufacturing, Arizona Sport Shirts, RCI, Dyer's Top Rods, and Richardson Racing Products. These sponsors are coming on board to help fund the series with track rental expenses, training expenses, tech expenses, and to set up a substantial points fund for this series. The amount of the points fund will be dependent on car count; however, we plan to have at least a $2,000 points fund. Also, if we can accomplish our points fund and expenses, we can shoot for a nightly purse fund. We also plan on local sponsors coming on board to help fund a nightly purse. |

FIRST SHOWING OF KIDMODZ A BIG SUCCESS
| (November 15, 2007) - KidModz is proud to announce that its first showing was a big success! We have gained our first drivers and are adding to the list of interested drivers. We are working on a rule book. This will include details on what you can and can't do. I know a lot of you are waiting for this. KidModz is also looking at ways to try to open some affordable options for those looking to come on board. We have available at this time a front clip option that we could assemble to an existing Pierce Modified Chassis. For instance, if you were to acquire a used Pierce Roller, the expenses to convert over would consist of a tubular front clip, a fuel cell mount change, adding a doorplate, and a few other small changes, approximately $1,000 to convert. After the appropriate changes, the motor and drivetrain will be the expenses left. The motor must be a 2300 Series 4-cylinder. There will also be detailed rules for the motor (which you can build yourself). We mentioned that Mullins Race Engines are building these as an option. We are looking at ways to try to manufacture a front clip that would be usable for other chassis and builders; however, their points of intersection are different than that of a Pierce chassis. At this time the Pierce chassis is still the only available option, although when the rules are written in detail, other manufacturers can build these if they meet all the building standards. Remember, the prices on the price list are new with all the upgraded options. We will work with finding you a used, good car also at a more affordable price. For used chassis listings go to www.bobpierceracecars.com and go under the "modifieds" menu, then under "used" to view the used listings. |
